St. Anne College Lucena, Inc. proudly celebrates a historic international achievement as its Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (BSHM) delegation wins the Gold Medal – International Award at the 2026 Asian Pastry Young Chefs Challenge, held in China from September 10–12, 2026.
Competing against representatives from nine other Asian countries, the SACLI team demonstrated exceptional creativity, technical expertise, discipline, and culinary artistry on the international stage.
Representing SACLI were:
- Geronimo Gavilan – Team Manager
- Liam Trysten Comendador – Team Member
- Jeorge Mishaela Celerio – Team Member
The team’s winning entry, “Golden Caravan,” reflected Filipino creativity and craftsmanship, showcasing the students’ dedication and months of intensive preparation and practice leading to the competition.
This remarkable achievement brings pride not only to SACLI and its BS Hospitality Management Program, but also to Lucena City and the Philippines, proving that Filipino hospitality and culinary talent can shine on the global stage.
