We are very happy to congratulate our BSHRM alumni, Mr. Jerry Elloso and Mr. Reinhold Cerillo, who were one of the contributors and judges supporting the adjudicator of the Guinness World Records during the Hog Festival 2024 on March 1, 2024.
The Local Hog Farmers from the Philippines have achieved the First Guinness World Record for the most variety of pork dishes on display. The National Federation of Hog Farmers, Inc. served a total of 313 pork kinds at the Hog Festival in Quezon City.
This achievement would not have been possible without the collaboration of contributing universities, colleges, restaurants, caterers, home cooks, and culinary enthusiasts.
Key personalities present during the event include Department of Agriculture Undersecretary for Livestock Deogracias Victor Savellano, Department of Tourism Regional Director Sharlene Zabala-Batin, Sinag Chairman Rosendo So, and Guinness World Records Adjudicator Sonia Ushirogochi.
